We thought we had booked a hotel but it turned out to be just an apartment in a building. The room itself is good and it’s in a great location. Poor communication with the host (they got back to us, but slowly), and no flexibility on early checkin even though the apartment was not occupied. Air conditioner is not working. Overall the central location made up for the other shortcomings for the 1 night that we were here.

The four nights that we were at Casas da Baixa were difficult. We specifically booked a room with air conditioning, but the air conditioning units were defective. We sent 1-2 emails a day, but the issue was not resolved. We did like the location, very nice close to activities and entertainment.

A great location. Having an elevator to take us and our luggage to the 3rd floor was a lovely surprise! This was the 13th bed we slept in this vacation and the bed was definitely the most comfortable of all of them! Quiet at night even though it was so close to the busy tourist area.

Great apt in excellent location!

We had a fantastic stay in this charming apartment in the most ideal location in historic Lisbon. 1. Location: just steps from the metro and bus (including bus 728 which services Belem and also the Oceanarium), close to restaurants, and walking distance to shopping and sites! We couldn't have asked for a better location. Neighborhood is safe and was NOT noisy (at night, you might hear an occasional siren or music, but only for a moment - it's a normal city!) 2. Apartment: very clean (including the bathroom and kitchen, which I am particular about), well-stocked with plenty of supplies (extra towels, napkins in the kitchen, dishes, extra pillows, toilet paper, hair dryer, clothing iron, etc.) 3. Communication: I had a few questions prior to the visit and the communication via email was smooth and quick. 4. The only thing I would ask is to let us know where we could bring our recyclable trash. We would defintiely return to this apt in the future!

The place is very central and surrounded by restaurants and stores. The location is great! It was clean and clear instructions to get in. I just wished for more comfortable mattress and pillows.

Great stay

This apartment is an excellent location and is nicely appointed. The 2 beds in the attic space are too hot to sleep in during the summer though. Otherwise a really good stay. One note- you cannot store luggage there if you arrive before the 4pm check-in.

Great location and service

Lovely place in a great location. Access is through a code so no contact with host but had a call before arrival to confirm all details had been received and a follow up call to ensure all good. Will definitely recommend as great base for a city break.

Great place to spend your stay in Lisbon and fantastic location. Host were super responsible and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend and come back .

Good location

The room is in the heart of the city. Very central. It is very comfortable and it has everything you need. The communication lacked a little when asking for a slight extension for a late checkout.

Nice place very clean and close to everything. Very difficult to find and the gps takes you to the other end of the road. I had to ask a few locals and even them could not tell me. I recommend when you get to the road look for fígaros barber shop and it’s on the left next to a small shop.
