Hello everyone, the room I stayed in was very clean and exactly like the photo. I especially want to mention that the lady at the reception was very sweet, very attentive and very kind. She even gave me gifts because it was my birthday. I want to thank her very much. I am someone who travels to Switzerland frequently, but from now on I will only stay there. The hostel window offers a spectacular view. The shower and toilet have open windows, ensuring a steady flow of fresh air. The shared facilities are meticulously maintained, remaining clean at all times. Additionally, a dining area is available, featuring amenities for food preparation, refrigeration, and coffee service. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, consistently providing assistance with a smile. Our experience was, without a doubt, amazing. Super easy to check in also parking is available behind the hostel. Crash landing bridge is also nearby for a picture

Went with my parents and my brother. Stayed for three days. Had good experience with Mountain view Room for four people. Clean and finely spacious. It was noisy at times but were given ear plugs. Shared bathroom and toilets were clean and okay. It's far away from main hub hence only one bus every hour. There is a shared kitchen but no stove only fridge and microwave with some cutleries. Cannot cook food inside the room but only in the kitchen. All over, worth the stay closer to lake.

Location and location that’s the only sell of the property. Very bad smell inside. Needs complete cleaning and beds are not comfortable. You get what you pay for the location. Might work out for 1-2 days if you are with family but not longer.

This property is GORGEOUS. The views are absolutely insane. The shared toilet situation isn’t so bad considering there are 2 on the main floor, 2 on the first, 2 on the second, and 1 on the third, with a multitude of showers as well. They also have a washer and dryer which is awesome. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything, but the rooms are quaint and cabin-esque, the views are insane, the staff is so friendly, and the restaurant across the stress is delicious and not too expensive. There’s also a full convenience store with food to cook in the kitchen in the lodge! Would definitely recommend.

The lodge is in a beautiful little town, has all the services you might need, the staff is extremely nice!! the little downside is not in the hostel but in the town, because is a little town there is only one convenience store, there are some restaurants but when we got there, everything was already closed, but the views make you forget about everything.

Our stay at the Lake Lodge Hostel was great! Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. They provided a bus pass to get into Interlaken and back for the duration of our stay which was an added bonus. Although there’s no air conditioning, it cooled down at night and we had no problems sleeping. Definitely recommend staying in this hostel!

it is convenient with public transportation. It was noisy because you can hear every sound due to the way it was built, and some customers were not considerate. I did not get good sleep 2 nights out of the 3 when we were there.

The reviews of this place gave an inaccurate description of this place. The wood floors made it very loud every time you walked. The walls are very thin. The showers would get really dirty towards the end of the day. The only good thing about this place is the gorgeous views.

The location blown my mind away. Absolutely gorgeous view, and the staff was great. My concern is sharing bathrooms with other guests. I guess I didn’t pay attention to that aspect because I would have not booked a stay in a place where you have to share showers and toilets with people you don’t know. Specially when traveling with children that they don’t know better and take less precautions than us adults when it comes to showering and using the restroom. I will also suggest to add fans in the rooms because it was very hot inside the room the entire night. Although, the room had a window, it was not screened for us to opened and let fresh air come inside. That was a bit disappointing during our stay.
