I recently stayed at the Nob Hill Hotel for two nights with my family, and while the location was great — close to the places we wanted to explore — the overall experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue we faced was the power constantly going out in our room. We had to call the front desk each time so staff could reset the breaker. Being in San Francisco, it was cold, and during each outage we were left without heat or lights. This happened multiple times throughout our stay.
It was especially stressful for my two daughters (ages 8 and 10). On one occasion, the power went out while one of them was showering, which frightened her and caused both of them to panic. My other daughter nearly hurt herself running and jumping onto the bed in fear.
Unfortunately, this made our stay uncomfortable and unsettling. I hope the hotel addresses these electrical issues so future guests don’t go through the same experience.
