Stay away while they’re renovating

I’ve stayed at a lot of LaQuinta’s which are a budget hotel but decent quality, this hotel is under going renovations (Oct 2025) so I’d stay away until they are finished. Location is next to I-95 so it’s pretty urban.

Friendly staff. Upon check in we got room 706 and the guests in the room next to us (704) must have been partying with very loud music. After reporting it to the front desk the staff on that night was able to get us a different room far away from them. And that room had a very slow shower drain.

It was nice, and the breakfast was good. I loved the little diner attached to the hotel. The elevator was a bit sketchy, but the room was clean, and I slept well.

Fair quality room, poor tub shower

I understand that the hotel was under construction and I’m sure they had better rooms with more decent shower tub for use during my stay. There was a lot of holes in the walls and in the tub not so desirable. However, the shower gel shampoo conditioner was nice or looked newer. The bed had an indentation and you can feel the springs.
