It depends on what you are looking for - some parts of the visit were excellent and some were less so.
This is nice, historic hotel with a beautiful lobby. The location was perfect for us - we liked being on one of the squares and had easy access to shopping areas, historic sites and the River street area. We also enjoyed being close to the Lucas Theater and enjoying a show there. Leopold's ice cream is also very close.
Two or three of the front desk staff were not interested in the quality of our stay, nor were friendly. On checkout, they didn't even ask how our stay was and earlier when we asked questions we received curt answers.
The bed was awful - we rolled to the center and it creaked loudly with every move. That said, the linens on the bed were very good quality and the towels were fluffy and in good shape.
Be aware you are in a city, so early morning wake up may be to the sound of the garbage truck or a delivery truck unloading items down a metal ramp.
We stayed for 4 nights and the evening wine/cheese was nice but had no variety day-to-day. The wine server was clearly bored and was even talking on her phone with speaker one evening when we sat in the lobby. The live pianist was a nice touch, but I think they would be better off to remove the piano and play recorded music - one pianist had long pauses with every music page turn which we found humorous.
