We were here to view the xterra triathlon. This is a tiny town but the accommodation was excellent with a nice staff and excellent breakfast and meal options. Sadly it was quite wet and rainy while there so we did not get to be out as much as we would have liked. Having this place as a refuge was welcome.

Erstklassig, ist unser Eindruck, denn wir sowohl für das Zimmer als auch das Restaurant erhalten haben. Es hat uns in la Brévine, trotz massivem Hagelschlag, sehr gut gefallen. Alle waren sehr bemüht aus unseren Französisch etwas brauchbares zu machen 😜.

Das Hotelgebäude, die Zimmer, die sanitären Einrichtungen sind aufwendig renoviert und in einem Top-Zustand. Das Essen am Abend (Wildschwein) war sehr schmackhaft und schön angerichtet. Der Service war effizient und freundlich.

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit den neuen Zimmerbatches, resultierte ein herrlicher Aufenthalt mit einem exzellenten Rehentrecôte aus der Küche. Das Frühstück war dann wieder 08/15.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Die Begrüssung war zu Beginn eher kühl. Dies besserte sich dann zusehends... Die Zimmer sind auf den ersten Blick modern und sauber. Jedoch ist es nicht sauber genug. Auf dem Bettlaken hatte es einen Fleck, die Böden waren nicht sauber und die Toilette bürsten hatten noch WC Papier des letzten Gastes dran. Das Restaurant war ok, jedoch hat der Koch nicht viel Ahnung von seinem Handwerk. Zitronen wurden mit einem Fleischmesser geschnitten, welches vorgängig nicht gereinigt wurde. Folglich war Blut oder Fleischsaft an der Zitrone. Auch das Essen an sich konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Die Burger sind trocken und dad Brot durchgeweicht. Die Pommes weich und nicht in frischem Öl frittiert. Auf dem Rindscarpaccio hatte es zu viele Kerne jeder Art, welche den Geschmack des Gerichts übertönen. Dies hatte ich auch dem Personal mitgeteilt. Besser die Pizzeria daneben besuchen. Alles in allem enttäuschend.

Haben nicht mehr erwartet....

Zimmer war sauber und grosszügig gross. Leider lief der TV nur auf kleiner Lautstärke und damit war mit TV schauen leider nichts. Im Ess-Raum hatte es leider zu viele Fliegen - eher etwas unappetitlich. Beim "Zmorge" teilte man uns mit; dass der Käse hinten auf Tisch liegt. Die Überraschung war gross als wirklich nur ein Käse (abgedeckt) mit dem Käsepapier dort lag - etwas mager...
