Flies in room, sticky candy/gum under bed, patched holes not painted, kitchen tile missing, not repaired, not painted, rust on ceiling in bathroom, fridge broken and had to throw out food, people stomping up and down stairs. Staff not empathetic and unwilling to change rooms. We work hard for our money, $1200 is almost 3/4 our montly mortgage payment and if we are spending that much for 3 nights the room should be in much better condition. I dont believe a package of cheese and prosciutto along with hotel points (which we aren't earning since we went through hotels.com) is appropriate compensation. I would request one nights cost of stay to be refunded.
