Overall, the hotel is nice. A little dated. There was a lot of construction going on at the time of our visit. This resulted in some property amenities being unavailable. The kids water playground was under construction. There are also a lot of raccoon like animals that will come poolside and steal your food and drinks. The animals were not aggressive, but definitely an annoyance. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly.

The room was newly remodelled, the staff and service levels were amazing. I would have given 5 stars, but most of the amenities were closed due to renovation of Grand Riviera Princess, for example I booked the hydrotherapy on the app. When i arrived for the appointment, I was told they dont monitor the app because the pool is closed. I would have appreciated knowing that part of the resort was closed. All in all, we had a great vacation and will probably return next year.

We had an overall great stay. The food was fresh and enjoyable, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few areas that took away from the experience. The beach could have been better maintained, as there were sandbag type materials protruding through the sand in several areas, particularly around the lifeguard tower, which was an eyesore. The shuttle system was also frustrating, with long wait times that often left us walking long distances across the resort, which became tiring. We were also disappointed to find the sports facility closed on Sunday. We had planned to play sports with friends and traveled quite a distance to get there, only to learn it was closed, and this was not communicated to us in advance. Additionally, we were not informed ahead of time that construction was taking place across much of the resort and that some restaurants were closed, which was disappointing. Despite these challenges, the resort itself is beautiful, and we were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of wildlife throughout the property.
