Room was lovely but next time i would stay on the sunny side as there was no sun on the balcony with a mountain view. Fabulous breakfast. TV doesnt link to Netflix but had YouTube. Showers need rethinking as theyre above the bath in the celing and soak the room. Lovely that theu give you 100000 to spend at the resort for each day you stay.whe you shower

Amazing hotel but far from everything

Love the resort, amazing place, just to many people, lost of people waiting for elevators and carts to take you to the 1st building if you wanted to get into town, which is a 10-15 min walk down and up a big hill. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. Our room was immaculate, received good service, and the breakfast buffett was amazing. Its just that this place was too big for me.

Hotel room was up to all my expectations and good choice for breakfast. Unfortunately due to storm the week before some pools were closed and the beach was full of rubbish which staff didn't seem to be making an effort to clean up in any hurry. Distance from Cat Ba town was easy

Okay stay at Flamingo Resort

Overall experience was fine. It’s a massive hotel with 3 separate hotel buildings. Very crowded, even though this was off season. The restaurants were okay. The staff in the reception were very helpful! It’s way too expensive compared to other way better hotels in Vietnam, but there are not a lot of options on the island.

I had a great stay. It’s a beautiful place and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I stayed in building 2 and had the best view of my whole trip from my room. Food was great in the restaurant. I can’t stress how great the staff are.

The bay is amazing and our room in the 15th floor gave us a stunning view over it. Our three balconies with gardens were beautiful, the room very spacious and clean. A la carte restaurant in building 1 was very good and a quiet place to enjoy excellent food.

From the time I arrived, every person, especially the front desk staff and spa staff were absolutely wonderful. Hotel views are gorgeous, the room was great. Excellent stay!

The resort is beautiful however upon arriving the room wasn’t very clean and then cleanliness around the hotel was quite poor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Very nice hotel. Facilities are pretty new and spacious. We enjoyed the On Sen experience very much.

Good walking distance to town. Lots of drinks/food out of stock. Guests always slipping over as floors constantly wet. Very crowded.
