This hotel is wonderful!! Across the street from a beautiful church and a walking block away from the “ plaza”. Stores, bank, OXXO, food at a walking distance. Rooms were very nicely decorated. Each room had a “ loteria card” on the door. Our room had a king size bed with a beautiful tile headboard. Matching tile throughout the room. Hotel has a restaurant, nice outside sitting area with tables/chairs and huge parking area. The only problem we had was that the front street was being replaced which made it difficult for us to get around but once this is done there shouldn’t be a problem. Location is great !! I hope they continue to maintain this nice hotel.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCIA. Cucarachas, ruido espantoso del aire acondicionado, baño sucio y pésimo olor, en general instalaciones viejísimas. De los peores hoteles en los que me he hospedado, pase mi peor noche y no pude ni dormir. El personal es amable pero aún así cuando le indique de las cucarachas no hicieron absolutamente nada. Tiene buena ubicación pero créame no vale la pena y no lo recomiendo ni aunque sea una noche. Todo FATAL.

They had no hot water. I had to shower my 2 kids with cold water. The restroom also had spider webs in the shower. It was pretty weird to see that they don’t even look into the shower. Obviously they don’t clean it. Wouldn’t recommend to nobody.

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt (high reviews were highly deceiving) but I was wrong. Although I liked the vintage, cantina, lotería references/decorations throughout the hotel, I did not appreciate the flying roaches, sewer smelling rooms, variability in every room and the lack of cleaning service offered to my multiple reservations. My family and I reserved six rooms for a total of 4-5 days and cleaning service were only offered once coincidentally when we were in the room. No trash was ever picked up, toilet paper was never refilled, no sheets were changed. We were out all day and the cleaning team never checked back to our rooms to clean. Overall our stay in Monclova was not what we expected. This hotel has so so much more to improve. First and last time staying there.

Estancia en Monclova

No salía agua caliente en lavabo. Regadera estaba cerrado válvula no salía agua caliente, vino la persona para ajustar después ya no puedo parar la agua, por lo tanto no puedo estar tranquilo, aún antes de la hora, entregué mi habitación. Refrigerador tampoco no se enfriaba, se quedó cariente bebidas que guardé. Abajo de lavabo también encontré colilla de cigarrillo. También lámpara de lavabo tiene falso contacto, si es necesario que se revisen confirmación que tienen. Sin embargo las personas de recepción si está amable y tratan de apoyar huéspedes. Ya que problema de edificio e instalación puede ser por antigüedad que tienen, pero por parte de hotel deben de estar mantener buenas condiciones para recibir huéspedes.
