This was a repeat stay at this very pleasant hotel in Lausanne center. There are three main draws to it: superb location two steps away from the main railways station; a superb view from the breakfast saloon on the top floor; and a very easy experience all-in with fast, efficient checkin. The rooms are modern, clean, with all the necessities. Basic toiletries provided. Wifi free and very fast. Minifridge provided, empty, perfect for storing your shopping. Breakfast is… Swiss (which means good and fresh but rather spare). If I have one qualm it’s about the pillows, which are way too flimsy. A citywide transport pass is also offered, which serves best with the metro that goes up-down the city. Note the nearest station is not Gare but Grancy, 30 meters from the door. All in all I will return!

This hotel boasts an excellent breakfast spot, perfect for starting your day. The room itself was fairly standard and felt a bit cramped for two adults and a child, though it remained manageable. Access to public transportation was convenient, making it easy to catch a train to Old Town or Ochy. While parking was available, it was somewhat tight due to the elevator-style setup, which might be unfamiliar to some guests.
