Went to check in and seeing that it was a pet friendly spot I asked about having my cat. They said no and they would not be able to honor the reservation. I told them I would take my cat somewhere else to stay. As I was checking in they threatened me with more charges if I had the cat in the room. I responded with “I just told you I am taking the cat somewhere else. So, you can stop the threats. Also, the room was iffy. The beds smelled like they had been slept in and they just remade it without cleaning the blankets sheets pillow cases. Bathroom walls had yellowish orange nastiness on them. around the seal of the tub and shower was mold. Other than that not too bad. It was not a bad stay

Our stay was comfortable enough, but the property was very run down and there was a musty odor that no amount of opening the window could change. The shower apparatus was falling apart. Based on the condition of the rest of the physical plant, we weren't willing to try out the pool.

I loved my stay here and would recommend it and stay here again. The room’s layout was perfect for a longer stay (sometimes motel rooms are small or toilets are facing the bathtub so there’s little space to move but not here). It was super clean, and had a lovely smell everyday, even after a few days. The chair and bed were very comfortable, and very welcoming after day’s of hiking. The late night coffee and tea station was very appreciated! Thank you for making for a great, reasonably priced stay so close to Acadia!

The property is old and a little run down, but we only slept there and it fit out family 5. I was a bit annoyed they after I booked through Expedia, they charged us extra for a 5th person when we checked in, although I searched for a hotel that slept 5.

The room was clean. The room was limited. No hangers, no closet, no coffee maker. It felt like a very cheap motel room but was clean. The cleaning staff was friendly but the office staff was not at all friendly or helpful. Apparently for the price I was rewarded with location only. I would not recommend this facility.

The establishment exhibits a state of significant disrepair, characterized by bed creaks that render sleeping uncomfortable, musty linen, and faded towels that have lost their original whiteness. Additionally, the bathroom door is damaged, and the front door is in a state of disrepair. The carpet is stained and old. Employees were ok but can be improved for professionalism and appearance. I will not return to this establishment.
