Lackluster

FIrst time I've ever stayed in a room where you can set the AC to 65 and the room gets cold AND damp. There was more humidity in the room than outside. No fan in the bathroom. Room was in general disrepair. Bedsheets didn't make it to the foot of the bed (I think it was a smaller sheet put on the bed sideways?)

The woman at the desk, we first encountered was grumpy and short tempered, because we were early. I wasn’t asking for our room so early, just the use of the bathroom after a long trip and a map of the area. She did give me the information I needed. We came back at the correct time when our room was ready. All other workers were friendly and helpful, when we came to buy tickets for the ferry and carriage tour on the island or ask a question. Overall the room was comfortable, and mostly clean. The bed linens were crisp and fresh. The towels were fluffy and bright white! The floor was vacuumed, the sink area very clean, toilet and tub were clean also! But when I spilled my talc on the bathroom floor, I used a damp washcloth to clean it up. The dirt I got off the floor was disturbing. So I wiped down the whole bathroom floor. It wasn’t clean. We unplugged the clock to charge my phone and there was a lot of dust behind the nightstand and on the lower part of the beds.

Only half the electrical outlets worked. No exhaust fan in bathroom. A lamp without a plug, like it was cut off. No alarm clock. Moss growing on the carpet on the balcony. Won't stay there ever again.

Perfect location, great price.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach that has a great view of the bridge. Super close to Shepler’s ferry. Close to downtown. Employees were nice and helpful with all our questions. Love the wood cabin vibes. The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day of exploring the city and island. We would definitely stay here again.

Seemed clean, however A/C unit smelled bad/moldy. Could see lots of lint/dust in unit discharge. Breakfast was only packaged muffins and coffee/tea.

Tourist spot.

It’s a tourist spot so the people there get tired of answering the same questions but they also tell you like you are from there so you are better off talking to others or gps. There wasn’t much of a breakfast but the bed was pretty comfortable and they had 4 different types of pillows. You also had access to 2 different hotels that had water parks. It was a really nice stay.

Nice place for the price

Breakfast option was interesting. Received a voucher for a buy one, get one free at a restaurant down the road. The food was great and it is all you can eat. For the price it was very reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. My niece loved that she was staying in a Lincoln log hotel.

Needs A Repair Man!

The hotel called and wanted to change our reservation at 5pm from a 2 queen to a king. I declined. When we hung up I noticed I received an email and the reservation had been changed. Upon arrival they inform me they had changed the reservation back to what I had originally booked. Our room was in MAJOR need of a repair man, a DEEP clean, and maybe a map for future guest. It was a maze with 1 ac unit so no air flow and couldn't cool the entire area. The jets in the jacuzzi tub shot out mold. The baseboard heaters need put back together. The carpets need cleaned! Stained sheets is not a good first impression. And power strips to plug in lights! I'm sure not all rooms are like this, but this was my experience!

Room was outdated, which is ok, but it was damp and the bathroom was very run down. It was as clean as it could be, but ultimately felt musty and underwhelming for the price.
