Worst hotel experience in Crete – avoid if you have a baby or mobility issues
We stayed in 3 hotels during our trip to Crete, and we visit Greece twice a year – this was by far the worst experience.
The hotel is absolutely not suitable for parents with a baby or anyone with reduced mobility: steep slopes, stairs everywhere (bar, restaurant, beach).
We booked a sea view room as shown in the photos, but got a noisy room facing the main road, with constant traffic and hotel staff passing. They dared to say it was “better for a baby.”
No baby cot was provided – just an unsecured sofa. How is a 5-month-old supposed to sleep on that?
We asked for a change – they said “we’ll call you tomorrow.” No one called. Worse: they claimed they called the room while we told them we’d be out. Result? Wasted our time and ruined our day.
They don’t know how to manage anything. No apology, no empathy, just “that’s how it is.”
