Not only the room, but the entire place was super clean. It was a great experience. We were very well received and the service was delightful. Food and drinks were really nice. The views were something else, we didn't want to leave. We definitely recommend this place to whoever wants to spend a few days away from the city, be relaxed and enjoy nature.

I loved our stay here! It is a very ecotravel type of trip! It’s a very local area, it is about a 10-15min drive to the bottom of the mountain to the town of samana! There are few English speakers but they’ll do their best to help you get by! We had an amazing time! It is hard to explain how amazing this lodging is. I agree with other reviewers—if you are looking for a five star experience, you need to stay in a fancy hotel in Samana. If you are looking for breathtaking views, a rustic environment, and an amazing element of privacy—you are looking at the right place. Every room feels like it own bungalow, the included breakfast was delicious, and the smash burgers were awesome! The staff was attentive and the view of the bay was second to none. It is a hair raising drive up to the hotel and a hike from the parking to your room (staff will help with luggage) but once you are settled in—YOU WON’T want to leave! It’s great, we already can’t wait for our next stay…

Treasure in the tree tops

Great place above Samana bay. Not easy to get to (especially at night), but an oasis with incredible views, super friendly staff, good food and pretty access to Samana destinations. Loved private dinners in one of the two towers overlooking the bay. Yoga in the morning. No AC, but the higher rooms didn’t need it at all (fan plus breeze meant we used a blanket at night).
