Friendly check in staff, very clean rooms. Pool was nice and warm, but slightly dark lighting. We didn't eat breakfast. Nice little wodded area next to a stream, not right out in the open. Front desk answered all our questions such as AC and laundry.

The front desk were very helpful when we asked to be moved to a different room because we didn't want to be right next to the outdoor bar. The inside and outside could use a little updating and some paint. We had a streamside room and the balcony floor was broken on one side and had a definite slope. After a full day of activities, we wanted to get some pizza but their wasn't a cook...on a Friday afternoon. We had a nice time at the outside bar that over looked the stream. All in all, if they did some updates we would consider staying there again.

It's a lovely old hotel!

The breakfast was excellent! Waffle-maker was fun. Coffee was great. Scrambled eggs and sausage links were yummy and best of all, you eat them on porcelain plates (not paper plates). You could dine at the outdoor area with the view of the stream. The hotel has an old school look but classy! Our room has the view of the woods. My family and I enjoyed our stay there.

We love it here

We always love it here. Yes, the hotel is aging and declining but the most important thing is that the management is trying their best to keep up with the amenities. The employees are friendly and helpful. For the price, that’s good enough for us. The location and amenities like free hot buffet is good and a trail to walk our dog is a big win to us. We love their outdoor area and the Shogun restaurant!We keep coming back. Actually booking now for our next visit.
