Welcoming Detour

Our flight was canceled due to Hurricane Erin; hence, our family ended up at Doubletree. It was approximately 12 minutes from CLT. We were able to book three rooms for the same day. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a warm smile, the check-in process was smooth, and their famous chocolate chip cookies made it feel like home. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff friendly. Shuttle service back to CLT was bonus.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a stay before an early flight. It was nice to have free transportation from the airport but be aware that the airport shuttle doesn’t run early so for our 6 am flight we needed to make our own arrangements

The room fan for AC was noisy, cracked tile and hollow sounding tile when walking on it in bathroom when walking on it, staff was great, great location for dining places close and dining in hotel even though I did not utilize dining area in the hotel, pool area was in demolition under construction clean rooms wonderful helpful staff meant a lot. Overall great stay comfortable bed and clean.
