Housekeeping issue

We found Blood all over the lamps bulb and wall after arriving in town and checking in at midnight so wasn’t able to address it . I would have thought house keeping would have noticed this . That was a first for me finding all that.

The room was musty and air conditioner smelled. There was pait peeling off the bathroom ceiling and looks like they painted over mold. The furniture was old and in disrepair, however the bed was clean and after 15 hrs on the road and exhausted it was the only choice there was.

My mistake stayed 2 nights.The first room offered was filthy. I was then offered a different room. okay so you pay for what you get. The next day I step out for a while come back in and see what is an actual spider one that looked just like the Halloween types but this WAS real.

This looks like an older hotel that is holding on by its fingertips. When you enter the room the light switch doesn't work. They had an extension cord that plugged a lamp, microwave, refrigerator and TV that was held off the floor by the lamp. Tub was painted and it was peeling as well as the ceiling. There appeared to be mold on the ceiling. We went to see if they had coffee in the breakfast area and 4 of the sconce lights flickered. My husband doesn't usually take pictures but he took a bunch so he could report this hotel if he gets a chance. We expected so much more from choice hotels.
