Resort atmosphere and amenities

This property is so wonderful. We had stayed many times over the years and always enjoyed it but had not been there since their big remodel and renovation. It is now a bona fide resort and has a similar feeling to the ones we love in Maui A little bit of paradise on the nearby coast

No beach view, only paper cups in the room instead of proper coffee mugs, no tea bags or decaf coffee and a resort fee for “amenities” which are usually included in the price at other “luxury” hotels. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was impeccable. The room was spacious with 2 bathrooms. It is unlikely we would return.

We got married at this hotel and every couple of years we go back on our anniversary. The rooms are great and spacious, we love the updated wallpaper and artwork. My only complaint is the state of the couches in the living room. They are worn OUT and stained. We had to put a sheet over it to comfortably sit on it. That would be my only recommendation, please change the couches.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff were incredible. The room had a beautiful beach view and it was such a quick walk to the beach. It was expensive and the fees add up but overall it was a very nice stay.

Hotel looks nice in the picture, it’s old

We asked for garden view and hotel gave us the pool view above the restaurant and it was so loud and we couldn’t sleep, and AC didn’t work at all. Next morning went and complaint and they switched us to another room and after lunch came back to the room, ac in that room doesn’t work either, called the front desk, they sent the technician and he couldn’t fix it. Gave us fans to cool the room, that didn’t help and fans were loud. Even their restaurant called Dive Ac wasn’t working.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner you have to make a reservation and waiting long to be served. Self parking is $45 per day!!! They do not have showers to clean after visiting beach and so - pool and jacuzzi is mess with sand afternoon. North side landscape is messy. We booked Garden view but got tennis courts view?!
