This was mostly adequate because it was so inexpensive. Usually I don't mind if furnishings are older and a bit worn or run down, as is the case here. Inside seemed clean. Outside - old, unappealing trash here and there, cigarette butts. The big turn off for me was that my requested non-smoking room had once been a smoking room. There is no way to to confuse that sour, stale smell of cigarette smoke for anything else. I arrived late and shoulda woulda coulda asked for a different room, so shame on me for not being more assertive to ask for what I needed, but, as I say, it was late and I was tired. I wish I had asked. Otherwise things seemed clean and staff were helpful and polite.
