I only stayed for one night at Chalet D Ávila Guest House, but it was perfect. The staff was super friendly, gave good advice for things to see, the breakfast was lovely, the building really pretty, the room had a decent size and the bed was comfortable. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom, this is a brilliant place to stay.

Loads of shopping and restaurants in area, Metro directly across the avenue, wonderful street vendors/ fair this past weekend. Excellent information from managers re: navigating city.
