The place is not nice outside, you can actually pass it, its dirty and entrance scary. Old elevators, has TV with only 2 channels in Portugese a cartoon channel and chat . For 2 days didn't even have the working TV.

We really enjoyed the authenticity of the neighborhood that offered some great options for eating and drinking, as well as a break from the tourism parade closer to the waterfront. The walk to the centro neighborhoods is quick and easy, and there is a metro stop only a block from the hotel that can get you downtown, or even the airport easily. Our room was clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen is also practical for keeping and preparing food.

The only advantage is its location. Very close to the metro station and at walking distance to the city center. I would not recomment for a stay of over 2 days. I did not find it convenient for families.

hotel situé dans un quartier peu sur, bryant. l hotel ressemble à un hotel de 'passe' pas de clim, la propreté est a revoir, les refrefirateurs dans la cuisine sont sales, pas d eau tiède uniquement chaude ou froide dans la douche ! insonorisation horrible on entend meme le robinet dans la chambre d à côté, volets cassés qui ne fermaient pas.en entier. nius sommes decus et surtout étonnés que cet hotel soit proposé par hôtel.com ! vos critères sont à revoir. plis de 80e la nuit pour un.taudis !!!

I just want to make it clear that this place is a hostel/hotel although we did have a private bathroom the rooms were very small but good since we only stayed a night, the staff were very kind. When you enter you must take the elevator or stairs to the first floor and that is where you'll find the hotel/hostel, it's confusing at first. Overall good stay if ur on a budget, the door knob had problems closing but we ended up figuring it out.

The a/c unit was a stand alone with no outlet for the hot air so it created heat towards the floor while up above was maybe cooler. As it was hot out, our room was hotter. Location is recommend

The staff is kind and helpful. And location is very good, nearby has tram 28 bus station However the hotel facilities are old and heater temperatures was not enough, room was cold in winter. For the price and location are quite okay, but room clean is not good enough.
