Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When we arrived, everything reeked of weed. Not just smelling it when you pass by one room, I mean everything. The lobby, the parking lots at both the front and back of the building, the stairwell and elevator, and the open air hallway. Thankfully we couldn’t smell it in our room. But while smell didn’t infiltrate our room, sound did. Starting at midnight, we heard the nonstop sounds of footsteps, doors slamming and people talking all night long. I don’t mean a couple times an hour; it was happening every 5-10 minutes. And we weren’t near a staircase, we were in the middle of a hallway, but you could hear everything like people were walking around right outside our room our own door. Needless to say, we got very little sleep and left more exhausted than we arrived. When we told the front desk, they said if we knew what room was making the noise, they could tell the occupants to be quiet but we didn’t know where specifically it was coming from. Plus the bathroom towels had stains and hair on them, and the fire alarm went off the next morning when I’d just gotten out of the shower and we started packing. We chose to stay in this hotel because we were visiting family in the area and the alternative were their couches; we would have been better off sleeping on their sofas.
