I enjoyed the hotel. The room was very clean and lovely. Everyone was friendly. I just wished the parking situation was better. I paid for overnight parking and I couldn’t park all night because they have limited spaces. They need to fix the parking. But the pool was cool and the location was the best thing.

Clean and spacious room (we got the mountain view, beautiful and quiet), helpful and friendly staff, and you can’t beat the location. It’s right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to a lot of museums, food, and shopping. The property probably hasn’t been upgraded in a while, there were a lot of little scuffs, scratches and tears in the room and common areas, but I don’t care much about that as long as it’s clean. Overnight parking is $30 which you have to purchase separately, it’s not a hotel charge, which is a little annoying but you can always find parking in the surrounding area if you want.

We had a pleasant stay and the location is excellent. But it would have been better if the furniture i.e. the couch/sofa-bed were up to date, or at least not so worn. Also, we stayed in a "handicap" room, but the problem was that we did not have a walk-in or roll-in shower. It was a bathtub with safety bars and a shower hose. Unfortunately, I was not able to step over the edge of the bathtub to climb inside the tub to shower. That was very disappointing. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable.

I love this hotel. I am a repeat stayer, and I definitely overlook maintenance issues. For example, this time, my toilet wouldnt flush for real unless i opened up the tank and pulled the chain manually, the light on the balcony flickered all night, and the lights in the bedroom didnt work. And the hot tub was broken for the first night. BUT, the design of the hotel is great, I love the layout of the rooms, the location is perfect. So in palm springs, i am never happy staying anywhere else. Ive prob stayed here 10 times and every room has some sort of maintenance issue. They should honestly start remodeling rooms one by one.

It is very close to the Convention Center, where we were attending a Competition on Saturday and Sunday, and we were able to walk to the Agua Caliente Casino for some fun Saturday Night. The Parking Garage has very limited spaces and is a nightmare for anything above a compact car. We have a Toyota Tundra and finally found a space, very tight next to a pole. Our room was clean, but definitely in need of a refresh. Couch, chairs and much of the furniture was very worn, as well as the hallway carpets. Every Staff person we had contact with was helpful and friendly. Cudos to the Employees!

Was told there was no airport shuttle but saw one outside of hotel after arriving. Staff is very friendly and prompt to contact you or say hello. Rooms are dated and a bit dark, but clean and functional. Bed is very comfortable. Pool is also dated, but clean and towels were always available.

Well, you can look at the place as desperately being in need of a renovation...or being charmingly retro. Being charmingly retro ourselves, we choose that.
