The hotel has been a family favorite for years. It is clear that services continue to be cut to stay afloat and it is disappointing, especially near the holidays that the staff is aloof, at best, and surly the rest of the time.
Our room was freezing, the windows painted over and the bathroom had a broken window. We were told we had been upgraded.
There was no maid service, but never advised of such, Gracie’s was closed through our entire visit, but we were charged a “resort fee,” when complimentary water wasn’t even offered.
The hotel either needs to be purchased by a larger org (sadly) or eliminate the fees and be transparent about the state and services (lack) being offered.
