The hotel itself was clean and seemed modern enough. The location was good and very walkable. There were a few setbacks though, that would make me think twice about returning - especially since there’s lots of hotel options in the area. Parking was $29 which is ridiculous for that area. It’s not an upscale area, it’s riverside. It’s a nice place but I don’t know how they justify such expensive parking.
Second, the man who checked us in was so rude and acted like we were bothering him because we needed to check in. He was not friendly and not welcoming and it was a disappointing way to start our stay.
Finally, while watching a movie in our room, the power and tv kept going off every 20 minutes or so. I finally called the front desk and they said it’s a power saving feature and everything will turn off if you aren’t moving around the room. That’s absurd! I shouldn’t have to get up every 20 minutes and walk around the room for the power to stay on. Such an inconvenience.
So, while it’s a nice enough hotel I think there’s likely others in the area that would work just as well.
