The idea of this trip was a Labor day getaway to relax...
During the first night, I felt ants crawling on my face, which woke me up and caused me stress!
I asked to be changed to another room; the reaction when I reported the ants made me feel like the staff is not trained to handle any customer service issues. I would say a puzzled look was what I got; they did transfer me to a room on the second floor.
(room 132 had the ants)
Then a lady showed up at our new room and said she was told of ants in the bathroom- I had to tell her that it was the other room that had ants, and it was not the bathroom; this made me feel like there was a lot of miscommunication going on behind the scenes!
The day we were leaving, the restaurant made us wait 30 minutes to get a table.
And the pool is small and filled with screaming children horseplaying...
Overall, I mostly liked sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean reading my book, but because of the inconveniences, it is not exactly worth the price. I asked for compensation regarding the inconvenience and they took $92 off my stay.
