Perfect Price and Location

The property and room were wonderful! It felt like we were in a tropical paradise. I do wish I had brought my own pillow, and there could have been a pizza cutter/more utensils available. I did love that there was a box fam in the closet. I always sleep with a fan. The beach chairs were great. They were light, easy to carry, and it was so nice that we didn’t have to pack our own on our 14 our drive. The location was terrific, because you are just 0.4 miles from Venice Beach, a 18 minute drive to Manasota Beach, and a 28 minute drive to Siesta Key Beach. The free use of bicycles made the trek to Venice Beach simple, and riding around downtown was beautiful. We spent most of our time at Siesta Key, because it had almost no June grass, and was beautiful. For the price and location Tropical Villas were perfect!

I initially wanted to give this place a lower rating due to the villa I rented on January 11 for an April trip was given to someone else. I found this out 2 days before we checked in! I rented a villa with a separate bedroom ,queen sofa sleeper and a full kitchen with oven. We needed the oven to prepare our Easter dinner that was ordered from Honeybaked ham. There was 2 of us traveling, not a couple. It was assumed we were a couple and moved 2 a studio with one bed, no sofa sleeper and no oven. Being 2 days before the trip it was too late to book elsewhere. They provided a twin air mattress that was pretty thin! We ended up taking turns sleeping in bed. I booked through Expedia and was told when I found out that I should have booked through them directly and/or provided needing 2 beds in special requests. If I book a specific villa that’s what I should get. Once we arrived we loved the place just not the bed situation and no oven. She did offer to call around to other places but at that point it was too late as I would have ended up paying more. The grounds were beautiful, it was quiet and the pool was wonderful. We live in Washington so flying across the country to sleep on an air mattress was not ideal! No offer of any type of compensation, especially since when I booked the room there was about a $300 difference in the 2 rooms! We go to Venice every year and decided we wanted more than a hotel room. With that said I will definitely book next year but will b

Great stay. Villa was clean and spacious and had everything you need including nice beach gear and beach towels. Beautiful tropical landscaping and nice pool area. Perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants on Venice Ave and short drive or bike ride to beach. Best place to stay in Venice!

The appartment was really nice and had an own entry to the fenced pool area. The communication was only via email but we got all information needed. The garden area was really nice and the city itself very beautiful. Unfortunately we found a smaller dead cockroach at the fridge when we arrived and a bigger palmetto bug at the last day of our stay. But I guess it's almost impossible to avoid that, as the rest of the property was really clean.

Great place to stay in Venice

Great stay in Venice. Excellent location near beach and restaurants. Convenient parking, free use of bikes and beach items like chairs and towels. You can get the toiletries tou need whenever you need them. Nice, heated pool. Smart tvs logged into streaming services for quick use. Full kitchen with full fridge, stove, dishwasher etc. They have thought of just about everything a traveling family may need to have a great trip.

Very beautiful property with a lot of landscaping and palm trees around. Heated pool. Apartment was fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom staff. Laundry available next to apartment. Also property had bikes available and beach staff. Fred property manager was very helpful. I highly recommend this place, family friendly with lots of privacy. Also free WiFi with full streaming access. *****

Good hotel near beaches for a family trip

It was great except we booked a 2 night stay and had to move in between nights. The staff made it really easy but probably shouldn't have let us book 2 nights.
