This hotel needs a serious upgrade. It is very run down and has an overall uncleanliness. The furniture in the rooms are falling apart. The bathroom smelled like urine when we checked in and there is no vent. The toilet barely flushed. The only positive is the location and short distance to Raymond James stadium, but other than that, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

Excessive noise at 3:30 am ..called desk and security went to source. Remained quiet for about 5 minutes but started again. Called the desk previous evening and asked for two blankets. I was told they only had one blanket available and I would have to come get it. The toilet water ran nonstop. Went to get water from the complimentary water dish and both were empty. The breakfast was not as expected and the juices were room temperature with no ice available. Very disappointed

We booked a room (and prepaid) and called to confirm that late check-in was ok because of the repeated delays of the flight. When we got to the hotel, finally, at 2:30am, we were turned away because the hotel was overbooked and there was no room left - even the room we already paid for. It caused great inconvenience to us in the wee hours in the morning… We can’t trust this hotel.

My main complaint was no air conditioning in the lobby and it was very hot and stuffy. There were many people waiting for a room. We all waited in a very uncomfortable lobby area where they were repainting so we had those fumes to deal with too. Cruise ships disembark early in the morning and there were many cruise passengers waiting. The hotel did not check anyone in until 3:00pm. I went upstairs and the maid told me that many rooms were ready much earlier. Why can’t they check in one party at a time as the rooms are cleaned? Especially knowing that their lobby is unbearable. When I was finally given a room, we went upstairs only to find that the room was not ready. On top of that the toilet was not flushing. For the most part, the staff was friendly. The property is old and run down so you get what you pay for. Final complaint, although the airport is only 10 minutes away, the shuttle only leaves once an hour, on the 40 minute mark. Our shuttle driver drove so fast, he sped through 2 yellow lights and hit 2 curbs at a high speed when turning right. Scary ride.

The printer didnt work but the front desk clerk let us email and print what we needed. She was pleasant and helpful. The building needs some work but the rooms were suoer clean and have a microwave and refrigerator. The pool was clean and refreshing. Overall great stay resonably priced. Also included shuttle service to and from the airport as well as a shuttle fee to the cruise we went on.

The room was clean but very “abused”. The sink and furniture had gouges , the bathroom door was peeling. The bed was comfortable for me. The breakfast option was horrible but typical. The first day there were over cooked hard boiled eggs. The second day there were no eggs, just white flour and white sugar options. There were apples and bananas both days. Waffles, muffins, plain bagels, and white bread for toast is not what I call a good breakfast.

Internet was fine. Room was spare, but very clean. Bed was quite comfortable. My room was located overlooking a covered interior courtyard which seemed to contain and increase noise levels, but it quieted down late evening. Staff was very friendly and quick checking in and out.
