Watch out for unknown charges when you check in

Hotel did not tell us we had to pay a city tax until we left. Why did they not charge us this when we checked it??? Normally you can leave a hotel without checking out. We travel all over the world.

Nice and stylish

Nice and stylish hotel in Trieste, with a great location with easy access to the city center. Parking is nearby but is external and expensive. The room offered and covered all needs. Breakfast was nice and the service was great.

A lovely stay and great staff

The property is very clean and well-cared for. The location is also excellent, and we appreciated having enough space for both of our suitcases. The staff was also very lovely. Our "issue" (and it's not a really big deal at all) is that the "Modernist" design so touted by the ads, was just really hokey, and even looked a bit cheap. The light fixtures in the room were WAY too bright, and the hallways were just a bit grim. Of course, this is very subjective.

Great hotel, but towels should be better Almost everything about our stay at this hotel deserves praises, with one notable exception: the towels. During our two-night stay, we were provided with two sets of towels that were noticeably thin, worn, and even had small holes. For a hotel of this standard, this was a surprising letdown. On the POSITIVE side, highlights included: - Excellent reception and assistance from Jenifer and Ali at the front desk – friendly, helpful, and efficient. - A beautiful blend of modern decor with original architectural features, creating a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere. - Spacious, modern, and well-maintained room (we stayed in Room 107). - Carpet-free room (more hygienic). - A large, contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower. - High-quality bed linens. And two pillows for each guest. - Fully functional air conditioning. - A very good breakfast. - Flavored water available in the reception area – a thoughtful touch. - Great location, just outside the main tourist area. Areas for IMPROVEMENT: - Upgrade the towels – guests would appreciate newer, softer, and more absorbent options. - Install a dimmable light in the bathroom for nighttime use. - Provide body lotion as part of the bathroom amenities. - Offer a complimentary bottle of water in the room, which is standard in many hotels of this category.

The room was big, the beds comfortable, and the location central, but the hotel is not as new as the pictures suggest. It was also very loud (lots of traffic just below the window and a party in the hotel), and the smell of smoke in the room quite strong

Ottima struttura, centralissima, pulita e personale gentile. Unica pecca: il parcheggio. Sulle strisce blu 20 euro al giorno, servizio parcheggio dell'albergo carissimo, 30 euro al giorno!!!
