Had read a few reviews before booking - the room -502 - and probably all floors with 02 on the end - was as said in another review - had a window facing an outside shaft - so only view of walls and a patch of sky as we were high up. Room was big enough - had very comfortable bed , pillow and duvet -great bathroom / shower - ok no drawers in bedroom but not a problem...robes, slippers , lavazza coffee machine and kettle, coffee, 2 waters and tea topped up each day with a mini fridge too. Other rooms of course, more expensive , had better size and view - but this was a short stay and it was absolutely perfect for 3 days. Breakfast was absolutely fine - cooked section, and great choice of teas and coffees. downside was that it is in a small area which could get busy and noisy they could do with moving the sofa area over a bit to make more space... - but we managed!! Very helpful reception staff - and clean rooms too! Location couldn't have been better!

We loved the location of this hotel and our room was very comfortable. The staff was so accommodating-even gave us sandwiches when we had to leave for our flight before breakfast opened. Because we were in the thick of the city, though, there were fireworks going off until midnight for some reason. Not the hotel’s fault, but it might have been quieter in another location, but then you’d miss the charm and being able to walk so easily to wherever you wanted to go.

Absolutely fantastic. The only thing that it lacked for me, was ice; no ice machine for drinks in the room. The hotel staff did get me ice on a couple of occasions, but it was not readily available for guests. Limited dining, but a goog variety for breakfast. You're so close to all the restaurants, bars, and entertainment that you could choose a different experience every time you stepped out. Transportation was a quick walk away. I wouls stay here for every visit to Malta.
