The hotel was good for our stay in Leipzig. We enjoy the pool for swimming in the morning and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is next to the main train station and the city. The staff were very friendly and we enjoy our stay.

Wir wollten zwei ruhige schöne Tage in Leipzig verbringen. Hatten uns extra ein großes Zimmer für die beiden Nächte gegönnt. Das Bett grenzte mit dem Kopfende an den Fahrstühlen. Meine Bedenken das man die drei Fahrstühle hören würde, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Was uns den Aufenthalt aber leider vermießte, war das im Hotel große Baumaßnahmen am Tage zur Zeit stattfinden. Vom Service bekommt man da die Antwort, das die Baumaßnahmen um 17.00 Uhr aufhören. Man bucht und bezahlt nicht nur die Nachtstunden, sondern 24 Stunden. Den unerwünschten Baulärm, der so laut war, als ob neben mein Kopf Stemmarbeiten stattfinden braucht man dabei nicht. Meine Nachfrage, ob man Ohrstäpsel bekommen könnten, wurde verneint. Auch im Internet ist nirgends was von den Bauarbeiten zu finden. Unerwartet trifft es einen voll. Erst hatten wir das identische Zimmer im dritten Stock bekommen. Gleich neben den Fahrstühlen, nur mit einen Papierständer verdeckt, befindet sich die Baustelle. Aber nicht nur von dem Baulärm wurden wir begrüßt, nein dort übertönt die Bässe der Musik von den Bauarbeitern diesen Lärm. Die Bässe durchfuhren den Körper wie kleine Schläge. Unser Wunsch auf eine andere Etage wurde entsprochen und wir durften die 2 Nächte im 5 Stock zubringen. Dann brach auch noch beim zu Bett gehen die eine Rolle am Bett weg. Diese diente aber als Fuß. Da um diese Zeit kein Handwerker mehr sich im Haus befindet, war die Lösung das Bett mit drei Büchern auszugleichen.

Wir haben uns im Pentahotel Leipzig sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Lage ist absolut zentral, sodass man die Stadt bequem zu Fuß erkunden kann. Das Hotel ist modern, die Zimmer und alle Bereiche sind sehr sauber und gepflegt, und das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders positiv aufgefallen sind die angenehme Atmosphäre im gesamten Haus und das stilvolle Design. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf ein gutes Ambiente gelegt wird. Ein Hinweis: Der Pool ist nicht beheizt und ein Whirlpool steht leider nicht mehr zur Verfügung. Das sollte in der Hotelbeschreibung unbedingt klarer vermerkt werden, da viele Gäste sicherlich mit einem kleinen Wellnessbereich rechnen. Alles in allem aber ein tolles Hotel, das wir für einen Städtetrip nach Leipzig absolut empfehlen können!

Wonderful hotel

We just had a one-night-stay with two kids, so we didn’t get to spend much time at the hotel. However from what we did see, the hotel seemed like a place we definitely would come back to for a more thorough “inspection” of all the hotel has to offer. Rating the service-level might be unfair, but we had no contact with any staff, since everything was digitalized - which worked smoothly. Our kids have ordered a city-vacation next time, and we will very likely make the trip to Leipzig and stay at Penta Hotel for that.

terrible hotel, more like a 2star. From the staff who couldn't fashion a smile if their life depended on it (I'm looking at you vietnamese woman!), to the cleaners who couldn't be bothered to clean my room (what are you only going to clean when I leave?) I pay 4 star prices to have my room cleaned! If you're trying to be environmentally-eco-great thunberg friendly, let me know and I'll go somewhere else, like motel one! The breakfast was an absolute mess, it's actually in the main reception lobby??? I have never seen that before, where next, in the toilet?? No omelette station, very basic offerings, and a crowd of people queuing up like cattle at an abattoir. No water in the room, or in the lobby. No fridge in the room. Half the plug points weren't working. How the hell is it a 4 star???
