This is an older, dated hotel in various buildings and 1 or two levels on the property. See pics. Staff were friendly. Rooms were not sound proofed. Large dump truck backed in and idled for 30 minutes our 2nd night. I secured the bathroom window with the coffee tray. Need update $$$ to be spent. Breakfast was in a nice little nook, very simple. Toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, coffee was good. Nice local rtisans stained glass for sale. We bought a bunch.

It wasn’t horrible but I don’t think I’d ever go back. For almost $400.00 for 2 nights I’d expect better. There is 1 lock on the door, the door is parking lot facing so truly if someone wanted in they easily could get in as it’s only the doorknob that locks. The room has NO lights in the main area. 2 small lamps were all we had to light the room. Continental breakfast was bagels toast and cereal. That’s about it. This stay was NOT worth the price I paid. I also wanted to pay once I checked in as I was planning on paying cash. They charged my card before I even showed up. Purposely chose the “reserve now, pay later” option as we had a cash budget for the trip that included hotels. Of course we can put the cash in our account but I did not appreciate my card being charged before I arrived due to the option I picked of paying at the property. It was clean I will give it that but thin walls. Whoever was above us sounded like a herd of elephants (there were no room above us. It was a single story building) Would not recommend for the price they make you pay.

Rooms are 90% renovated. Windows, blinds and air conditioner/heater are all brand new. New vinyl plank flloring and freshly painted gives bright freshlook. Updated LED lighting and lots of well located plugs. New bathroom shower, toilet and heated/lit mirror. Bathroom vanity and tap still needed. Whole complex is being tastely updated without a bunch of obvious construction activity Good continental breakfast to start your day. Jim was very helpful ensuring that we had a 'breakfast package togo' the evening before our early morning start before normal breakfast times. We were able to leave well before dawn in the fog and still make to our whale watching tour.

Queen beds would have been great. The room was very spacious and could have easily accommodated 2 queen beds. I felt very unsafe when I parked and 2 young men were on the sidewalk doing drugs. They stayed outside on the sidewalk until 11:30pm and were very loud. I think they were dealing drugs because lots of foot traffic occurred at their room with people staying about 5 minutes. I did NOT feel safe.

Good start to the trip

Felt a bit overpriced for what you got, but room was clean, breakfast was simple, but enough, and it was easy to find and convenient to the nearby supermarket. A bit of a walk into town, but not terrible. I had communication troubles with the manager checking me in and out, but it worked out in the end. They let me leave my car there while I travelled out and about with my bicycle for a week.

Average stay. There was an attemt to upgrade the bathroom with new shower, mirror, toilet; however the door doesn’t close completely. It needs additional towel hangers. The room did have microwave, fridge, coffee maker. They all worked. Bed comfortable. Required an additional nightstand. Also needs luggage racks.
