Great stay, will stay here again. Liked the valet parking option. Lovely large comfortable clean room and amenities including complimentary wine and cheese upon evening arrival. The only negative was the shower controls were difficult to manage a good temperature setting.

The hotel is very old but it has charm. It’s not in the best of areas however it’s very close to Union Square, the BART, and the trams. The staff we lovely and courteous. It’s very basic but it worked well for us as we were out all day, everyday. The only we had was the noise on one night but that is out of the control of the hotel. I would stay here again.

We had a nice stay. Good room, excellent and spacious bathroom with bidet, 2 sinks, full bathtub and shower, with a terrific kitchette featuring full-size refrigerator, stove with cooktop, sink, and microwave. Breakfast was a tad uninspired - bland, cold pastries were the main feature. Overall, very satisfactory stay.

The hotel is nice and rooms are big and clean. But the staff in reception is unhelpful and one lady thre is rude. The staff that serves breakfast in the morning is nice. The hotel is next to the ugly area of San Francisco, but i felt safe there.
