My wife received food poisoning the first night we were there. She was very cautious about eating anything there. There was noises coming from the room and had to move all of our stuff from one side of the hotel to the other WHILE my wife had food food poisoining. Alot of rock made entry into and out of the water sometimes a big hassle. The hot tubs do not work. Food is ok. I wouldnt reccommend.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It started with the horrible food—bland, poorly prepared, limited options, and often inedible. We were genuinely hungry during our stay, which is completely unacceptable. The amenities are falling apart. Everything looks old, broken, and poorly maintained. It feels like the hotel has been neglected for years, with no real effort made to keep the property safe or presentable. The room we got was not dirty, but it was moldy and extremely outdated.

We loved the view and the service. The food was really nice and everyone was willing to help us have a great experience. The part of the maintenance is true the hotel is not new but it is clean and the service, view, beach, food, etc compensate it. The chef was always supervising the restaurant so you could always ask directly to him and he was really accesible.

Great view, great beach and beautiful water. Love the snorkeling right at the resort. Rooms need updating such as paint, plumbing fixtures and some furniture. They no longer had the buffet and the menu was limited and the same thing every day. The outside of the property is beautiful but they need to work on the rooms and the air conditioning system. The Staff work very hard to accommodate you. We ran. Into some issues but Julio was a big help in resolving our issues and our food waiter Carlos goes above and beyond to provide the best service! Beach service was slow but it was easy to walk to the bar to get what you wanted. We even tipped the guys taking the seagrass on the beach because they did a fabulous job and work hard. Price, location and the beach is well worth every penny. We had been before and we are returning. We always tip for everything and we brought extra treats for housekeeping as they do their best.

Got stuck in elevator which was was horrifying. AC could not be adjusted. Horrible plumbing. Bathroom smelled like sewer. Staff was friendly. Clean property. Pool was dirty. Construction noise last three days of stay. Horribly old towels which were scratchy on skin. Food was great except bugs around buffet area.

The ocean view was the best part about the property. Unfortunately, it is extremely outdated and a lot of things need to be fixed. Upgrades are needed with the rooms. New beds, more outlets, add refrigerators and microwaves to heat and store food. The AC in our unit was horrible. Every night we slept it was hot and the room has moisture.

Don’t stay here if you value honesty. Or having no extra resort fees. Or a mold free environment. Or a safe put together building and floors. Or if you enjoy air conditioner in the building or in your sleeping room. Or if you like a bed that doesn’t sag down like the back of an old horse. Or a stain free sitting area on your own hotel couch and chairs to the lobby. Or a malaria free/ minimal mosquito biting because someone treats for them on site: don’t stay here if any of those matter to you. If I was there to just get sloppy drunk, it wouldn’t bother me to want what is insinuated in the pictures on orbitz and website. To want my family to not get sick or hurt, but I came for a family vacation in good taste and clean safety. This hotel doesn’t deserve this beach. But good news is you can stay at any down the same beach and have a beautiful short walk to wherever you want to, even right in front of this uninhabitable-would be shutdown in the USA-who don’t have the amenity’s they advertise and shamelessly lie to us about so many things including 100’s of more dollars forced to pay at check in and when finally getting into the rooms you don’t want to touch anything from the wet hairy shower to stains that are no doubt from water, food, liquor, dirt, body fluids, and etc…Would not refund and would not let us go back up into our paid rooms to take photos to show Orbitz. WARNING:they told Orbitz that they didn’t know we had any problems and canceled. Lies. ORBITZ WONT REFUND!! RUN
