Maintenance issues abound. 2. Rave party upstairs, 10 or more people making huge noise till late in the night. Finally cops evicted them. 3. The sliding patio door was broken and has two inch gaps around the seams, which let cold air in and the sound of four noisy heat pump condensers humming and buzzing all night. 4. I sent an email to the sales manager to have assistance in getting me moved to an upstairs room for the duration of my 9-nite stay. She only said go to the front desk, etc. No real assistance. While they can take care of evicting somebody who was violating their clearly stated policy on parties and noise, which is a good thing to have, they don’t seem to be very enthusiastic about making things happen. Gave me Bonvoy points, not enough to cover even one nite. Should have refunded and billed the nite to the criminal upstairs, as per policy. 5. Kitchen utensils are virtually useless, I had scratched up rusting pans when I arrived with very few needed utensils to cook during this stay. Dishwasher is super loud and leaks water, doesn’t seal properly. 6. Large dog breeds, seems to be no limitations on dogs as with other hotels limiting size, weight, and hostile breeds. 7.There was no light bulb outside my door, nor the one adjacent. Come on!
A manager should make rounds at least weekly to observe maintenance issues. Room servicers should notice important problems like unsafe patio doors, burnt light bulbs, leaks, etc.
