When I checked in, I was asked whether I preferred the ground floor or the second floor. Shortly after settling in, there were numerous people in the room above us, along with individuals smoking marijuana and lingering outside our room. About ten minutes after check-in, I returned to the front desk to request a move to the second floor, but the manager said there was no availability, which was confusing since I had just been given a choice of floors moments earlier.
Noise continued throughout the night. Although I eventually fell asleep, I kept waking up due to constant banging and disturbances. Around 1:00 a.m., I contacted the manager to report the noise. Outside, there were people loitering in the parking lot, individuals smoking, and a dog walking off-leash. The manager initially stated he did not hear anything and implied the issue was unfounded, but moments later another loud bang occurred, prompting him to knock on the neighboring door and ask them to quiet down.
Overall, we did not feel safe or comfortable. With people congregating outside our door and ongoing noise throughout the night, the experience was unsettling. We would not stay here again.
