Pour 600$ Canadien la nuit je m’attends à mieux, petit déjeuner très très ordinaire le dernier des 3 petits déjeuner il n’y avait plus de croissants. Très bruyant la chambre à côté de la nôtre faisait beaucoup de bruit lorsqu’il entrait ou sortait. Hotel vieillot aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement.

Comfortable hotel, perfect for soaking up the spirit of Islay. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It's the ideal place to experience the unique atmosphere and character of Islay. The restaurant was a true highlight. The chef is a master—the food was exceptional and a huge step above typical British fare. We especially recommend the smoked kipper for breakfast; it was absolutely delicious. Live music by a band at the bar on every Wednesday and Sunday.

Absolutely fantastic hospitality, a warm welcome, delicious food and very comfy rooms. Also enjoyed a paddle on the lovely beach in front of the hotel. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, we would not hesitate to book again.

Great base for a distillery tour

Overall a great hotel where to the good outweighs the negatives. Goods - Food at the restaurant is great, Staff was helpful and friendly and the views were awe inspiring. The not so good, the price at the restaurant was high, the room was very small. Over I would say again.
