Brilliant staff and an excellent hotel

Amazing day the staff with the various accommodating. We had the double deluxe room which was very spacious and the Aircon was fantastic We were frequent users of the pool and the staff member was very friendly who looked after us very well. I would definitely recommend this place as a UK visitor.

The room was only ok. It was a bit dated. I didn’t think the cleanliness was up to standard. Quite a lot of black mould in the bathroom. I thought the towels smelt musty even after having them changed. The bedsheets did have some marks on them. Breakfast was just about ok I suppose, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t up to the standard that we would like. We were on the 3rd floor and were kept up by loud music around the pool when we tried to have a nap in the afternoon after an early morning trip. We slept well 3 out of 4 nights but the bar across the road had a very loud DJ night one night which kept up up until 12:30pm. This would be ok if you were still up and out yourself. This hotel definitely comes bottom of the pile in the list of hotels that we have stayed in sadly.

The hotel was close to a convenience store within a few minutes walk and there were some places for food and drinks nearby. The room was quite clean despite there were some visible bits of snacks hiding in the sofa. Beds were comfortable and air-conditioning was nice to keep us cool in summer. Water pressure in bathroom was strong for a relaxing shower and the bath tub was large. Some parts of the showering system was loose and not secured properly but it did not affect the function. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall I recommend this hotel for couples or small group of friends traveling together.

Amazing stay.. the staff were all really helpful and attentive .. the main front bar staff guy was soo funny. The hotel itself I really enjoyed - I’d I was to make any recommendation is for more sun loungers or floating subbed in the pool .. would stop again !

A very good and affordable hotel - would say budget end. The main tourist district of the old city is perhaps a good 15-20 min walk. Alternatively, can use the Grab taxi app for pretty cheap transport - around Thb 150 to town (US$ 4). There are also dining and cafe options to the south which are just 10 mins walk away.

Great rooms and service. Near to all in the old city. Still not too much noise. Great staff and swimming pool. The only negative was the breakfast, which was very basic with bad coffee. Will definitely come again.

Hotel was exceptional. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Being from the United States it was great the staff spoke English. Our bartender was a pleasant and cheerful personality you will never forget!!! The location was exactly where we wanted to stay. I would highly recommend Lanna Oriental.

Great hotel with romantic vibes. Lovely sunset by their pool. Easy location to access the town without the noise of the city center. Skip the coffee at their bar, there are lots of cafes near by. But do pick up their banana sticky rice. It's only 25 B and you won't regret it.

I liked the hotel in general. Can't complain about service or cleanliness. My only dislike was the height of the bed. Extremely low but still comfortable. Just made getting on and off a little ungainly lol.
