Located where is convenient most of the tourist spots in walking distance, 7-eleven is just at the corner. Paid car park at a reasonable price just next to the door which is perfect. Room is spacious than I expected. The complementary breakfast until 11am is excellent with plenty of choices.

Great place near Oslo Central Station

The best hotel I stayed at in Norway. The breakfast buffet was superb, the local area was fascinating and very close to trams, subway, and Oslo Central Station. The room was generally too warm but having the window open provided some ventilation and the neighbourhood was quiet through the night.

Look out for construction!

Very nice staff, eager to help at any time of your visit. Great breakfast! Hotel was close to airport train and few tourist attractions. There is construction next to the hotel. We could see it outside our window. It was very nosy and building shook often. Good place to stay for another or two but make sure that construction is completed.

Rooms and hotel was so-so

The room was very small with minimal amenities. There was no temperature control so and the temperature in the room was too hot to sleep comfortably. We were provided a small table fan and told to open windows if necessary (this made the room noisy and difficult to fall asleep because of the busy location). Breakfast was very ordinary compared to other Thon hotels. Bathroom was tiny - almost like an airplane toilet.

Really enjoyed our stay here, staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast as in all Norway hotels is superb. Please note there is quite serious construction work going on beside the hotel and they start early, 7am! It would definitely be worth requesting a room away from the work site. The location is 10minute walk from railway station and there are a lot of very good bars and restaurants close by. You are also very close to the Munch museum and Opera House with the floating saunas close by which are totally worth a visit.

We had 2 rooms that we rented. One faced towards the heavy metal pizza bar on the corner. Despite thick windows on the hotel, tge thumping music was just too loud. The hotel staff allowed us to move so that one of our rooms was downgraded to a single, but they had no way of reducing the price we had paid.

This hotel was great value for money. I stayed here twice in one trip. The single room was quite small which was expected but their great amenities make up for it. They have free coffee all day, breakfast, luggage storage which I used twice, fruit available for free, ice machine, great gym which I used twice, fridge in room and kettle :) It is noisy outside which was the only downfall. I did ask for a room on the quieter side but there was none available. I ended up using my head phones to drown out the noise. They do provide ear plugs (which are also effective). Also be aware that this building is currently under construction but it did not impact my stay. I would stay here again :)

Was under construction. Noisy until 3am. Hint was there were earplugs in the water glass. No shampoo. Coffee and water were available. Plums and oranges. No sweets as advertised. Sketchy neighbourhood. Staff not aware of making recommendations for more lively areas to visit. Had to research on our own. In reservation, we were quoted a queen bed, received a very tight double.

Impossible to sleep!!! Terribly loud noisy room

Impossible to sleep! Excessively loud noise outside, people shouting all night using speakers. The property offers earplugs to block the noise but this is absolutely useless. When complaining on the next morning, the receptionist told me I should have asked to change rooms (in the middle of the night???!!) because they “could gladly put me in a quiet room”. So why didn’t they in the first instance??? For that, I would say the discomfort really is hotel’s fault, as it could be avoided easily if somebody cared the least about clients.
