We chose this hotel specifically for the huge pool, which was great for the kids to relax in after the tours. The property is nice, the rooms are spacious, and the pool was almost always empty. However, the location is a bit far from town, and the breakfast is quite limited—though the staff member Geovil made a difference by being very attentive and friendly. A few things to note: communication with the hotel is difficult and slow, so arrange everything in advance. Also, while the airport transfer is free, they do not have service from the port; you either have to take a tuk-tuk or arrange a van for 1000 PHP. Finally, the restaurant is weak and has many mosquitoes due to the nearby mangroves. I don't regret our choice, but next time I would try another hotel.

My family’s stay at Fernvale was a wonderful experience. Room was spacious, super clean, well stocked refrigerator and lots of ammenities. Bed was comfy, Wifi was fast & reliable. Staff was superb and took good care of us. On site restaurant was terrific. Swimming pool was gigantic and fun. Fernvale was the highlight of my trip to Coron.
