I've stayed in many hotels in my life, this one was by far one of the best, if not the best dollar per dollar value I've ever gotten. Every detail within the room was thought of, including free minibar drinks, amazing shampoo/shower gel products from L'OCcitane, great qualify bathrobs, slippers, etc. Room was extremely clean, and front staff very courteous. I'm definitely staying at this hotel again the next time I'm in Hamburg, Germany.

Great location. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower. Well supplied. Our room did not have windows we could open or blinds we could open as people could see directly in. It was a bit stuffy on hot days but nothing bad. AC in bedroom was perfect - slept like a baby.

Fly problem, especially on food

Flies on the food for the breakfast and flies in the room. Just very unfair to pay for the breakfast and not even being able to eat it because of the flies. This was a very expensive hotel but did not feel like it.

Great location, poor entry and parking

Nice hotel, but the view was not as depicted on the booking. The water view was small and limited. No onsite parking and there were several steps you had to carry luggage up! Very hard with big bags, and we are younger and in good shape. The gentleman that checked us in was VERY nice, and helped a lot. He also gave us 3 pages of great tips to places/sites in walking distance. One lady at the desk was very rude however.

Amazing hotel!!

Best hotel I’ve stayed at! Gorgeous, clean, old architecture on the outside but completely modern on the inside. Our two rooms included everything in the minibar free! And there was a clothes washer in the room! The shower was unbelievably wonderful and the a/c worked great (which was a plus because it was an extremely hot day). The staff were super friendly and helpful (took bags to room, put us in taxis, etc). The bar/restaurant is super fancy looking so we finished the night with a bourbon nightcap in there.

The hotel was lovely, classy and appropriately decorated. Rooms were spacious, service was excellent. If I had a negative comment it would be that there was no ramp at the hotel entrance, only a series of steps. Not a problem for us, but would be for some.
