Fabulous location to shops/cafes/restaurants and also walkable to the national parks (30 mins). They are obviously in the middle of renovations with all the building material around. The motel is old and run down but still a good comfortable bed and hot shower provided. Also wifi. Would recommend for the price and location

The property manger is very friendly, warm, welcoming and cheerful. Bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Some parts of the property is under renovation, but very little noise or dust. Overall it is a quiet retreat, great price for the room

The property is a bit old, but I think that's reflected in the price. If your expectations are not too high, then you won't be disappointed. We like it because it's close to the town centre and restaurants, and is basically pretty comfortable. This is our third or fourth stay and find the staff to be really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again!

Clarendon Hotel - Great Manager

Room very ordinary and comfortable and just OK. However, the Manager is very helpful. He is quick to respond to residents' reasonable requests. He will go an extra mile to help out on residents' legitimate requests.

The room condition was too basic. Badly in need of renovation. Mirror in the bathroom was broken. The TV was too old, not a smart TV. Big gaps in the front door letting in cold air.
