"Hospedaje Panquilma / Tambo II — Warning to All Travelers Do not book this property. Although the hotel has changed its name to Tambo II, the listing for Hospedaje Panquilma remains active on both Hotels.com and Expedia, creating a misleading and inaccurate booking experience. I reserved a room on November 29, 2025, and upon arrival was told that the hotel had no record of my reservation and no longer operates under the name Hospedaje Panquilma. Staff informed me that the individual responsible for managing the Expedia/Hotels.com listing under the old name no longer works at the property. Hotels.com customer service stated that they could only issue a refund after contacting the property representative, yet they have been unable to reach anyone. As a result, I was forced to file claim with my credit card company to dispute the charge. This listing is inaccurate, unresponsive, and poses a significant risk to travelers. Avoid booking this property through Hotels.com or Expedia under any name."

"I want to start with the positive. The bedroom had 2 queen size beds and was beautiful, however the floor was dirty full of dust. The hotel manager was awful and told us that they could not locate our reservation, then wanted to charge us more for the room,they never had breakfast for the entire time of our stay, on day 1 we did not have hot water but on day 2 we did, on day 3 we did not have hot water, the hotel was filthy full of trash and they even had a dirty mattress by the pool. Its not allowing me to add a picture because I have proof of everything. They did not want to provide us for an iron either. I was not sble to sleep well because of the noises at nigh. We could hear like it was next to us these long loud dog fights. Also be prepared that if you choose the option to pay there that the credit card machine would not process. She kept saying it couldn't read it!! I called my credit card and nothing was put through. I ended up having to pay cash, so I had no spending money for the rest of the trip since Pachacamac is a very small town. I hope this review makes you think twice about staying there!! You are warned ⚠️ "
