"An Exceptional Stay at Khoj Resorts Shigar! My stay at Khoj Resorts Shigar was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible team who made the experience so special. Imdad was my driver and tour guide throughout my time in Shigar and Skardu, and I genuinely could not have asked for anyone better. He was extremely kind, respectful, and generous, and he went above and beyond to make sure I experienced as much as possible during my stay. Because of his efforts, I was able to explore far more of the region than I expected and truly maximize my time. He is the best driver/tour guide I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Shigar or Skardu. Hawaldar Haji Hameed Hussain Hasrat greeted me every day with warmth, respect, and genuine kindness. He consistently went the extra mile to ensure guests felt welcomed and cared for, and his presence made the resort feel even more special. Najeeb, Kashif, Faisal, and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Everyone was incredibly friendly and ensured my room was always comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Their attention to detail and positive attitude made a big difference. Overall, Khoj Resorts Shigar exceeded every expectation. The hospitality here is exceptional, and the people truly make the experience memorable. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region."

"The room had no heating and it took a long time for the hot water to flow. I washed in the cold with cold water because I did not want to waste the cold water: we were told to let the cold water flow through the pipes. The hotel staff were however absolutely brilliant. They gave us extra quilts and blankets and warmed our hot water bottles daily with a smile. The breakfast was very nice. The electricity situation was also poor as was the WiFi net connectivity. Again the staff were amazing and I may just go back because of how decent the staff were. But for almost 15000 rupees (£40 or $50) it was way below what Avari Express are offering for the same price. I wish I had checked with Avari first. The maximum this hotel should have been is 5000 per night."

The Mountain Lodge hotel is a great place to relax after your trekking or cultural tour in the area. The view over the skardu valley is amazing and Very nice place with stunning views and helpful staff,"
