"This is a truly gorgeous spot, right on the top of a mountain. We were really sad we had only booked one night as a stop-over driving down the coast from Mayapo to Cartagena. We want to find an excuse to go back and really enjoy it! Speaking of driving, if you are arriving in your own vehicle be advised that the road up is quite steep and not paved, although there are concrete strips for your wheels most of the way. Download maps for offline use and consider getting a ride if your car isn't up for it. Hope to be back soon!!"

"We had an amazing stay at Cayena. The standard room was spacious and well appointed. The food was yummy and the staff superb. Andrew in particular helped us for over an hour change a flight. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a rental car which helped to get around to area sites as the hotel is a bit remote. "
