The area of Rayong is just about an hour from the overcrowded, over polluted and horrible Pattaya, but it feels like a complete different world. The beach is beautiful long and empty, the only rubbish that you will find are peaces of coconut and fisherman net. It is not as build up as other parts of Thailand, so there is really not musch going on, but if all you want is relax in a piece paradise and watch the sunset for a couple of days, this is the place for you. The Marriott just opened when we went there, which means that we got a really good deal and it was worth every penny.

Everything was spotless, and the bedding was excellent, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The surroundings are quiet and well maintained, creating a true resort experience. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Service throughout the resort was smooth and welcoming, from check-in to dining and daily assistance. The facilities were excellent, including the pool, beachfront areas, and dining options. The overall ambiance is calm and upscale, making it ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking to relax by the ocean. Overall, Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas & Resort delivers comfort, quality, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it and would happily return for another stay."
