"We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Sea Resort. The rooms were clean, the location was great, the staff was friendly, and the grounds were well kept. It’s not a 5 star resort, but it is a great value. The only negatives I have are: 1) the walls in the room were thin and we heard our neighbors very clear, especially late at night, and 2) the pillows were not comfortable. But still a great spot for the price!"

"Really enjoyed staging here. The villas are spacious and having a more private pool outside the door while still facing the beach and ocean was very special. Our villa felt like it needed a little bit of TLC. Hard water buildup made the bathroom fixtures look dirty. The sheets were clean but felt like sand was in them. Likely from being laundered with beach towels. Overall it was not a dirty place, just needs some extra maintenance more often. Breakfast was lovely, great variety of western and Thai options and seating both inside the restaurant and out on the beach. Felt special. Pool and bar hours are a little odd. Also, the tiers and their associated amenity accesses were a bit confusing. Staff was nice, but didn’t always follow through. I’d asked for water bottle replenishment as it hadn’t been replenished and they didn’t follow through with sending more. "

"Staff are all very nice and helpful especially on transporting our luggages! The ocean is amazing clean and clear. The private beach area is somewhere I can stay all day long. It's away from the busy Tonsai beach so more quiet and peaceful here. Breakfast buffet got lots variety to choose from. "

"Fantastic location on the island. Close to everything including short walk to the main pier/ point of departure for day trips etc. Clean rooms, nice staff and great breakfast with an amazing view. Would be great if the gym opened earlier then 9am."

"Maria at front desk was excellent during check in & check out. Bas helped transport our luggage and very helpful. Although it was difficult to get to this resort, once you arrive it’s just amazing and beautiful. We did 1/2 day excursion (boat) it was wonderful and the staff were great. I would recommend this place. "

"Room was huge, very clean. Staff are amazing, so helpful. Restaurant serves fantastic food at great prices. The awesome beach is at your doorstep. Bean bags on the sand is a great addition. It is a picturesque piece of paradise. Second time we have been there and would return again!!!!!"
