"The best of the best service in an amazing place, everything taken care of. Valet parking top class, met by name and greeted with details of your stay. Every member of staff knew who you were from room to room, but never over-pestered. What a place."

"The heating in the room wasn't working. It wasn't an issue as they brought us a really good heater however being able to dry some things on the heated towel rail would've been useful. Also hot chocolate in room would be good. Breakfast was awesome. Thought we were just getting a continental which would have been fine but we also got Cumberland sausages and bacon. Staff were really friendly and the room was so cosy. Would love to stay again. "

"Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! My husband complained at reception but they just said ok I’ll let them no… with no apology. Also check in not very welcoming! Also they have spoilt the countryside views by putting an 8ft fence up ! We will be looking elsewhere to stay next time! "

"We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes. We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. The staff were super helpful and efficient. Our room was serviced by excellent staff and one particular member really stood out to make our stay comfortable (Simran) … she was consistently super happy and helpful each day. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed all the places of much interest close by. Don’t miss Skipton Castle, Grassington, Haworth amongst just a few places. We didn’t get to experience the new restaurant but hope to visit again in the future. "

"Great location and really friendly & helpful staff. Although there were none visible during our stay, dogs are welcome for a small charge. Parking is understandably at a premium due to its village location. Check out of 10am but people naturally leave there cars whilst going for a walk. This means the car park was still full at the 3pm check in time. There is spare parking available at another property but it’s always best to have your car where you’re staying. Superb walks from the doorstep up to Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and round to the beautiful Janet’s Foss. We had a meal in the Lister Arms whilst we stayed there. Although it was nice we felt it didn’t live up to the AA rosette standard they’ve been awarded. The breakfast however was amazing. Fresh( & we presume) local produce that was hot and plentiful. Cereals and toast as well as decent tea made it a hit "
