"Elizabeth deserves a raise! She is the absolute best employee I have ever interacted with. Tammy was also awesome! My only issue I had was the noise from the floor above me but I called the desk and they addressed it. Overall it was a great stay and will be back if I will be out that way again!!"
"This hotel reminded me of a mom and pop hotel. The staff was super friendly. A nice younger guy checked us in. He was really friendly. There is a restaurant on the property and they have a small bar. The waitress and the restaurant manager were both very nice. We only had appetizers and one drink each, but it was very good. The room looked exactly like it did in the pictures. It was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The carpet had a couple of little stains, almost like somebody had dripped coffee but nothing major. The air conditioning was a window unit, which was fine, but I would have liked to have had a film on the windows so you couldn’t see in. When you closed the curtain all the way you didn’t fill the air as well. The room still stayed cool. The bad was very comfortable.The town has a couple of other little restaurants. It’s about 20 min from Banner Elk and 40 from Blowing Rock. The town definitely is not a tourist destination but we felt safe. I would stay here again."
"Great hotel, located near Interstate 26 with easy access to Johnson City and the surrounding area. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed visiting family and doing some hiking along the Appalachian Trail. I have stayed here before when visiting the Johnson City area, and will stay here on my next visit."
